Tho victim of tho Tatura tragedy is believed to be William Skinner. _'He possessed about i£‘2oo in money and a horse *and dray. The latter was sold on March Bth at Murchiason East. Skinner recently won heavily at a two-np school amongst the navvies employed in the district. Skinner mysteriously disappeared from *sMarot on the 4th, The police recovered his horse and dray, which was by a strange man to a publican, also portions of i/con corresponding with those found in a containing the severed legs, a blood--stained axe and saw, believed to have been used in cutting up the body.
