LATE SHIPPING
SCHOONEB AOTEA.
The auxiliary schooner Aotea from Auckland and Coast porta sif 4,30 yesterday afternoon. 1 Captain Brown reported that the vessel left Auckland on Saturday, April Sth, at 1 p.m., and on the following day the wind came strong from the south-south-east, and the Aotea had to beat down past the Mercury On Tuesday the wind came from the weßtward, and the vessel had a fine run across the Bay of Plenty. On Wednesday 12th the Aotea passed the Ea6t Cape, worked Port Awanui; on Thursday landed at Tuparoa, and part of cargo at Waipirp* 'j On Friday finished landing at Waipiro, and anchored at South Head. On Saturday, 15th, finished landing at and reached Tolago. On Sunday the } launch received cargo, at noon, and on Monday landed cargo as Pakarae in thick* jgf rainy weather, and came on to Gisborne. The cargo cargo consists of 10.000 bricks -4§| for the Gas Company, 10 tons Common Shelton and Co. and L. ID* Ml Nathan and Co., 200 cases whisky and §1 cordials for L. D. Nathan, 5000 feet J|| timber for County Council, 3000 feet up timber for McLaughlin, 10 tons coal, ancl 00 packets sundries. , ; V
