Several sotnias of Don Cossacks have reinforced tho St. Petersburg garrison. The Putaloff works have been closed. . Strikers at Elisabethpol threaten to resort to bombs. : Troops between Moscow and Dazan are guarding many estates.. Eight workmen arrosted in connection with the January riots were harshly ' treated at Warsaw citadel and removed to j the hospital, terribly emaciated, and in a., dying condition. A court-martial sentenced three others to death for wounding a policeman during tho riots. . There are indications that 600, including many Polish patriots and other political suspects, have been oast into dungeons. The Warsaw authorities have asked for... an immediate supply of 600 beds for prisoners. ; •
