npHE Examinations conducted in New -k- Zealand by the Education Department on behalf of the City and Guilds of London Institute and the Board of Education, South Kensington, will be held in the various centres about MAT and JUNE next respectively. The subjects of examination include, for the City & Guilds: Plumbing,electric lighting, telegraphy, gas manufacture, carpentry and joinery, also woodwork and oookery for teaohers. And for South Kensington: The various branches of drawing, painting and modelling, machine and building construction, plane and solid geometry, applied mechanics, physios, chemistry, physiology and botany. Full particulars and forms of agplieation ' to be examined can bo obtained from the Secretary to the Education Board, or from the Inspector-General of Schools, Wellington.
