[(Fen Fresa Associatioi*. 1 )! Dunedin, last night.

Just as the express train for Invercargill was leaving on Saturday evening Walter Birmington fell botwoen the platform and the last carriago of the train, and was badly crushed. He was taken to the hospital, where he died some time later. Deceased, who was about 35 years of age, was a harvest baud and shearer, and appears to have been in the principal districts of the colony. He only arrived in Dunedin from Oamaru yesterday.
