COMPANIES’ ACT.
(PeE Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The first caso under auction 101 of the
Companies’ Act, 1903, wh ioh requires companies to make an annutd list and summary of certain matters relating to the t' company, was brought to-d'ay by the Begistrar of Companies. The Crown Prosecutor (Mr Myers) stated that many companies were lax in carrying oat the provisions of the Act, and it was now intended n to enforce the penalties. In tne present case ho agreed to a conviction and costs, provided the details required were supplied, but ht t wished the whole of the companies throut \houi the colony to know that procasdin, were about to be token m all cases w 'here there was failure to supply informal! on required by the Act,
