He was appalled at tbe revelations in Dr Roth’s report, and hoped they would lead to West Australia, adopting a comprehensive . policy for stamping out the abominable iniquities evidently rampant there. It was resolved to insist on equitable native legislation in British possessions. Paris, April 13.
