I ■‘■he Administrator of New Guinea has j furnished a report on an expedition to a I part of the interior hitherto considered inaccessible from the south coast. The | journey was very successful. The country is mountainous and well, watered, with fine forests. The natives are strikingly fine specimens of the Papuan races, both intellectually and physically. Friendly relations were established.
