In the match Dawson v. Ellcgaard the former won the two and one lap races. The five miles scratch resulted : Dawson 1, Ellogaard 2, Rutt 3. Dawson won by a length, the time being 11.12 2 5. Melbourne, March 29. Sailed, the Wimmera. Deave has been given to appeal to the Privy Council in the matter of the Stato imposing income ts\x on Federal salaries.
