(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Mr C. H. Izard, who is contesting Vtf Wellington seat, addressed the elects this evening. He declared; himself a sup> porter of the Government. A member of 1 Parliament must be either for or against the Ministry. He did not believe in > Independent members. The Government had rendered a great service to the colony,-" | had prevented industrial strife, reduced the rato of interest, and placed on the Statute Book many Acts of great value.
