WELLINGTON, last night., I When tlio Warrimoo returned to Melbourno some days ago with lior I cargo on lire, a portion, of tho cargo .was left at Melbourne, mid brought on by the Moeraki,, Which arrived here on Saturday. One case of drapery, goods, consi gnod to Messrs George and KersI icy was, on discharge, fo,u,nd to be smouldering, and it is surmisod that there was fire in it when it passed through the insurance adjustor’s hands at Melbourne, and that it has been smouldering on .the Moeraki all the way across.;
