TELEGRAM FROM MR CARROLL. His Worship the Mayor has received the following telegram from the Hon.J. Oarroll, at Opotiki, in reference to tbo opening of tho Gisborno-To Raraka railway : «,I think that you oan onsuro a better attendance of Ministers if tbo date of function was fixed for the 13th April. That would givo mo more time. That is the date that Mr Hall-Jonos rooommonds. It will also givo us more time to get things in a more oomplete order for tho publio conveuionoo* Leaving hero to-morrow for , Gisborno via Motu.”
