G- Ward approved of the amendedif regulations under the Stock Act, re*lK gulating -the importation of animal t manure, which includes bones,', | blood, etc. of animals.' By ,the!S new regulationsi the introduction of such manure irom any. place except-! India’ and the Commonwealth of tralia, is prohibited. .The intro'd«»% tion from India and the Conmufiawealth is restricted by prohibitions . unless Hie conditions set out ar e>faithfu,lly complied with. These) conditions provide that the manu-' facturer of manure intended for New Zealand must apply to.ithe Inspector!, acting for New: Zealand before commencing to manufacture for a li- i cense, whiob may. b Q ‘ granted on the Inspectors being satisfied as to, ‘a suitable separate building • and inaohinery. v Before commencing ’or resuming manufacture of manure for . export to New; Zealand seven clear days notice must be given by the licensee to the Inspector.
