I semi-final of the Gisborne Bowing | Club a races for the Presidents trophy, I presented by Mr A. F. Kennedy, resulted I in an easy for Hamilton and Buscke. The 1 final was rowed last evening between I Bayley and Hamilton and a great race re- I J suited as far as Burton’s, when Bayley had the misfortune to lose his seat, and thus I 1 enabled Hamilton to row home an easy I winner. Up to the point of the accident I the race was a fine one to witness. The I winning crew consisted of Hamilton (stroke), Wauchop (3), Richards (2), Cum- I ming (bow) and Bloomfield (cox). I
