DIVORCE CASES.
(Per Press Association.) Biennemi, last night. Two ether divoroi oises, wore heard by Justice Denniston to day. In the case cf John Bremoec v. Ethel May Bremner, and Joseph Bartlett, co-respondent, the husband, a laborer, petitioned for a divorce on tho grounds of adultery, and c'aimed £2OO damages. All (ho parlies lived .together reoomly at Piuo Valley, a back blocks settlemsnt, aud the petitioner alleged that when.he returned after au absence of some days on ono occasion respondent admitted improper rela'ions with co-res-pondent. She continued to live with Bartlott. The defence was that respondent acted as housekeeper for Bartlett, and there bad never been improper, relations.. Tho jury returned a finding that adultery was committed, and a verdiot of £25 damages, with £3O costs, was returned, and a decree nisi was granted. In the case re Hanah Spiers v. Wm. Spiers, a decree nisi was granted on the grounds of adultery. The businessxof the sittings has .concluded.
