WHITEHOUSE’S BIOSCOPE
Whitchouse’s Bioscope and Star Company commenced a season of two ' nights at His Majesty’s Theatre last even- j ing. The Company were unfortunate in regard to the inclemency of the weather, | the boisterous night keeping many coußtra ; people from attending. The' display sof ' scenes was one of the best ever seen Vc Gisborne, and dopicted the motor car Derby, international football match, bombardment of Port Arthur, circus scones.and several very amusing comic series. )?he bio-tint colored scones wore very pleasing, the pictures being produced in a very buc- ! oessfnl manner. Mr Leo Kershaw gave a very clover exhibition of eLdght-of-hand tricks, and is an illusionist? of no meatfi ability. His assistant, a young man -from the audience, created much amusement j and was perfectly at homo in Jsting the .. . conjuror. The whole exhibitkm~??^‘ r biight and attractive and full of vim' from etgjst to finish, there not being a dull moment in the whole entertainment.
