CONDITIONS. 'l. Horses, entering fkr District Race to have been is the District, and the bona Mo property of residents, for at least three months previous to Races. 2. Is the event of a District Horse Winning Race 2, such hkrse to carry, penalty of 71b in District Race. 3. The Handicapper shall- have the power to re-handicap horses after the declaration of weights and throughout the meeting. Jockeys riding in races to wear colors. Protests to be lodged with the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes liter the, disputed event, and accom-
panied by a deposit of £2. Such deposit to be forfeited should the protest not be sustained. -Nominations for Races 2,3, aiid 4, together with the name, age, pedigree, and performances of horse and colors of rider, to" be in the hands ■of the Secretary on or before March 4th. Weights declared 13th March ; acceptances, March 18th, Entries, etc., by telegram, must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunityi under a penalty not exceeding £lO (vide Rule 45.) No Nominations or Acceptances will be entertained unless accompanied by necessary fees.
