An explosion in- the Cambrian collieries at Lly-npia occurred during the changing of shifts, and when blie roads were crowded. The explosion wrecked tho shaft. Fifty were rescued alive from one seam, and fourteen from another. Many were severely burned, The loss of life totals between twenty and thirty.
