SUGGESTED POSTPONEMENT OP OPENING CEREMONY.

Last evening Mr W. Gaudin received received the following telegram from his Excolloncy the Governor in regard' to the opening ceremony of the Gisborne-Te Karaka line “ Your letter of the 3rd instant received, I have been making every effort to fit in the opening ceremony of the Gisborne-Te Karaka railway with my engagements, but regret extremely to find this impossible.
