More changes of occupation on the part of the young people who have so often’ entertained as members of the Pollard Opera Company. Marie Metoalf has met her fate in We3tralio, where she was lately married to an official connected with the mines at Kalgoorlie. Nellie Wilson, the lady of Amazonian figure, is also to be married very shortly. Alf. Stephens, after spending the best years of his life od the boards, was to leave the company at Fremantle, and mtends to take up office woru at Hobart. Eddie Nable completes his engagement with Tom Pollard in a few weeks, and will then either make another plunge into manegemeot—in which oasc he will bring his company to New Zealand towards the end of the year—or else will return to India. There must now be so many new faces in the Pollard Company that Now Zealanders would hardly know i it.—Observer.
