Dawson, sentenced in December last to twelve years’ imprisonment for conspiracy to defraud, and who was released on bail pending an appeal on a point of law, surrendered for imprisonment: Dr Montgomery,, late Bishop of Tasmania (not Archdeaoon Montgomery) waß appointed prelate of the Order of St. Michael and St. George. ,
