Betting : 2 to 1 Dividend, 6 to 1 Lord Ullin’s Daughter, 7 , to 1 Canteen. The favorite led into the straight, the nearest in attendance being Lord Fiizroy, Lamrook, Bliukor, Canteen, and Lord Ullin's Daughter. The latter made a very fast run at tho distance and beat Dividend, who failed to respond to the whip, by two lengths. Canteeu was sixth. Time, 8.57*. . . Melbourne, March 7.
