A mooting of the Poverty' Bay Cricket Association was held last evening in the ■Masonic Hotel,Mr W. Gibson in' the chair. Mr H. E. Hill was appointed secretary vice Mr Xveson resigned. Messrs EeUtvick, W. Torkington and W. Gibson were ap- . pointed a committee to select the team to play Hawke’s Bay. It was decided to charge Is admission to the match. The following team has been chosen by the selectors to represent Poverty Bay against Hawkes’ Bay :—A. M. Beale, E. B. Ludbrook (Waipiro), W. Torkington, A H. Hodge, C. Lasker, J. Charles (Taruheru), J. Gibson, C. E. MacPherson, (Gis borne), B. G. Hallamore, W. A. J. Gibson (United), H. Baymond (WaereDga-a-hika); emergencies: Bowler Mißkell, batsmen H. Sharp, Kere, Hodgkinson. The eelectora reserve the right to make alterations if necessary. The following elevens have been selected to take part in a trial match to be played at Taruheru on Saturday afternoon next— A team: Torkington, Hodge, Lasker, Charles, J.
