“On the arrival of Admiral Fanshawe, ■who is expected .on Wednesday next, Mr V. Atkinson, late yeoman of signals in H.M. Navy and a member of the Navy League, will signal fay semaphore from Mount Victoria (Devonport), extending a welcome to the Admiral and officers of the fleet on behalf of the Harbor Board, Mayor and Councillors, and Navy League. It is expected also that Sir J. L. Campbell, president of the League, and members of the Executive will pay a visit to the flag'ship- ’ . , At a meeting of the Wellington Park Stud Co. the report was adopted. The chairman made a statement of the affairs and explanation of the present position of the company. He added that it was intended to carry on to the end of the year". The Arbitration Court opened this morning with the hearing of the engineers’ dispute, in which 65 employers wer'.e cited. The engineers claim £3 a week of <W hours. ,
