Several witnesses, examined before >ho Court of Arbitration, unanimously agreed that the cost of living had so increased of late years that a wage of 10s per day 20 or 30 years ago was then worth much more to the worker than the same sum at the present time. ftl Sittings of the Court of Arbitration opened to-day, when the hearing of a dispute in the trade was com* ' meneed. 4 The; ' for the Workers' j?
