. WOODVILLE RACES. (Per Press Association.) Woodville, last night. There was glorious woather for the l second day’s Woodville Autumn meeting. There was a largo attendance and most excellent sport throughout the day. There wero some exciting finishes. Gold Crown won the big money very easily and was subjected to a protest wbicb, bowover, wasdismissed. Inspau won the Hurdles, j but was disqualified owing to interference with Wind just before the winning post I was reached. The race was awarded to Wind. Strong feeling was manifested against the decision of the steward?. The sum of £6567' was put through tbo machine, which made £13,357 for the meeting, which is £3OO more than the corresponding meeting last year.* Had Inspan been placed first he would have paid £lO Bs. Other large dividends ware £l7 16s on Rosewood for second in the Scurry, and £8 8s on Waitali second in the high weight. The following were the results|
