General Kuropatkin reports that Japanese and Chunehuses attacked a railway bridge 15 miles north of Cunshulin, and were repulsed. When Colonel Lenisky with u detachment of Russian frontier guards advanced his force was surrounded by six squadrons of Japanese cavalry, four companies of infantry, and 2000 Ohunohuscs. The Russians sustained heavy losses. They lost one gun, and retired on Cunshulin.
