Norton’s case, challenging the position | of the Lord Mayor, was dismissed, with five guineas costs against Norton, the Magistrate holding that the evidence disclosed nothing more than an ordinary business transaction, Mr Taylor, in supplying timber, having acted bona fide. Norton has announced his intention of taking the case to the Full Court.-
