BABY SHOW AND COMPETITION NIGHT

The above show, will be held in His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday, and it promises to be one of the best two hours’ amusement spent in Gisborne for a long time. Large entries have been received for the baby Bhow and. competitions. A very large display of sweet, pretty, dear little babies of various ages will be made. In the competitions for comic singing ballad singing, recitations, accordion and mouth organ playing the entries,are rolling in.in great numbers. Mr Manners informs us that when he first opened a Bhow of this kind in Melbourne the entries were so numerous that the exhibition ran for three days. In order to give all another chance to make their minds to send in entries the management have extended the time for receiving entries until the night of the show. The box plan opens on Thursday afternoon at two o’clock and early application should be made for seats.
