LONDON, Feb. 16. An explosion occurred aboard the submarine A 5 at Queenstown. Eleven officers and men were charging, .tanks with gasoline preparatory- to evolutions, when air explosion took place,, hurling the men in all directions.

A rescue party boarded the submarine; "when a second explosion, immediately. followed. Six men were killed, nine have been, picked up, and two are missing-., The submarine- is aflame inside.-
