They flogged 300 several of whom died, including a girl. 1700 Jews were seriously wounded. The polioe were passive. The committee of Ministers instructed M. Kokovtsff to frame a scheme for im* proving workmen’s lot, giving medical assistance, shortening hours, altering strike laws, and limiting the authority of factory*' inspectors.
