The Gisborno Rifles Rand, under Bandmaster McKillop, rendered a choice selection oi music, which addod considerably to the enjoyment of tho proooedings. Tho arrangements made by Mr M. G. Nasmith, sooretary, for tho general conduot of tho meeting wore all that could bo desired, and tho races wore got off well to timo. Mr O. O'Connor was most successful in getting his fields away on oven terms, whilst Captain Tnckor gave every satisfaction as judge. Mr J. E. Whitby, as usual, fulfilled the duties of clerk of the scales in an able manner, whilst Mr A. Pritchard made a most efficient elsrk of the course. Tho handioapper, Mr J. Chadwiok, was present at the mooting.
