FISK JUBILEE SINGERS.

Those world-wide renowned musicians,

the Fisk jubilee Singers, will pay a visit to Gisborne on Saturday next, February 11th, and open for a three nights’ season at His Majesty’s Theatre. The colored singers have appeared in all parts of the civilised world, and have become famous ohiefly by tho splendid results they have achieved in concerted music. All who have heard the beautiful jubilee choruses and plantation melodies have been charmed with their quaintness and their wonderful melody. It is a safe thing to say that in this respect the Jubilee Singers stand unrivalled. There aro in all nine members in the present company, includliug numerous talented vocalists with voices of rare quality and sweetnoss. The programmes presented are of a very varied character, and contain much of the humorous element. The first part con,sista mainly of the tuneful choruses, with several introduced solos, while the second part is entirely secular, with a plentiful supply of numbers of an amusing nature.
