UNBRANDED SHEEP.

(Per press Association.) Wanganui, yesterday. In the Magistrate's Court this morning a well-known settler was charged witn neglecting to brand 500 sheep immediately after their being shorn. He pleaded guilty, but stated he was ignorant of the law. He was Sued 3d per head, the Act providing for a maximum penalty of 10s per head.
