SHIPPING.
Tho s.s. Kahu arrived from Napior yesterday morning. Cargo .for Gisborne : 18,000 ft timber, 1550 posts, 74 rams, and sundries. The Kahu returned to Napier last evening. The Tysor liner Star of Australia arrives from Napier on Sunday to load shipments for London. The Union. Company’s s.s. Mokoia leaves Wellington this afternoon, Napier 10 a.m. to-morrow, and arrives hore in tho afternoon, sailing for Auckland and Sydney in the evening. The "last launch is fixed for 5 p.m. (meantime).
. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer lonio will probably arrive here on the 14th instant to load for LondoD. The schooner Gisborno sailed for Tolsgo and Mercury Bay last evening. Cargo for Tolago, 17,000 ft timber and 5 tons sundries ; for transhipment to Auckland, 160 sacks grass-seed and 25 sacks linseed. The Union Company’s s.s. Tarawera arrives from Auckland on Sunday afternoon. and sails for Southern ports in the «veDing UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS. Saturday, February 4.—Mokoia arrives from Southern ports, and sails for Auokland and Sydney. Ldunch 5 p.m. (moantime).
