A' SWEDISH CAPTAIN’S EVIDENCE,

The captain of the Swedish ship Aldebaran testified before the North Sea Commission in Paris that the Russians hr si attacked the Alfdeb.aran under a searchlight. The Russian representative protested against hearing evidence unconnected with the trawlers. Mr Hugh James O'Beirne, the British agent, emphasised the fact that the Kamschatka, imagining a lorpedoer was attackiing, first fired upon the Aldebaran, and alarmed Admiral Roahdes'tvensky, with the result that the outrage on the trawlers took place.
