TIMARU TOWN CLERK
(Per Press- Association.) Timaru, last night. The Borough Council last night selected Mr D. Virtue from 62 applicants for tho position of Town Clerk, at a salary of T3OO. Applications were received from all parts of tho colony. Mr Virtuo has been accountant in a solicitor’s office at Timaru for tho past 22 years.
