Tho timely arrival of the fire brigade saved the whole street. Later. The houses at Woodhaugh were owned by Larson, hot Norton. The insurances on Anderson’s furniture were £BO in the Standard, and on Larson’s houses, etc , which he occupied, and furniture £265 in the Alliance. Tho fire was probably oaused by a shirt left to dry in front of the chimney of a house occupied by Anderson.
