HARBOR BOARD ELECTIONS.
On Saturday nominations closed for the vacancies on the Gisborno Harbor Board with the result that there wore four candidates nominated for both the Borough and the County Districts, two inoinbors in oach being required. The election will take plaoe on February 18. JChe following are the nominations :—Borough of Gisborne : James East, nominated by Arthur Parnell and H. K, Smith. J. A. Harding, nominated by J. Townloy and W. Morgan, i Jas Whinray, nominated by O. A. Do Bautour and T. J. Dickson. J. Keunody, I nominated by J. Whinray and Wm Bur- ' naod. Counties’ Harbor District: Wm. Cooper, nominated by David Dobbio and G. Matthcwson. D. Hepburn, nominated by J. B. Sba%v and J. E. Mills. W. L. Bees, nominated by Wm Bruce and Jas Craig. A. Fordo Matthews, nominated by i C. Noenan and B. M. Birrell. |
