NEWCASTLE STRIKE.

The Seaborn and West Wallsend wheelers have offered to resume work on the masters’ terms, viz., 10 per cent, reduction. The Clermoro Vale wheelers resumed to-day at 10 per cant reduction. It is understood the miners are making up 5 per cent of this reduction. The secretary of the Colliery Employees j Federation wrote to 'bn Attorney-Geuerai, asking if the men tfgigzyfco return to work and to state a ease for the Arbitration Court, would tbo Court sit within three weeks to hear tbo dispute, Tho Attorney-General replied that until all hands actually resumed in obedience I to tho order of the Court, he would be unable to promise. When the men resumed be would approach the Court and ask for an early sitting. The Attorney-General made a statement to-day that typical cases having been beard by the Police Court and all available facta dealing with the various collieries having been elicited, ho would not waste time in hearing every individual case. Ho would therefore file an indictment for the quarter sessions against all other defendants.
