The journey from Tolago Bay to Tokomaru Bay is especially pleasant, the roads being exceptionally good and easily graded, some good country being passed through. The Hot Springs are prettily situated at an elevation of 800 feet above the sea level, and it would be difficult to find a healthier locality wherein to recuperate —the air being clear and invigorating. Tlio Springs are noted for their curative properties of gout, rheumatism, and some forms of skin disease.
