DROWNING FATALITY.

(Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, last night. Henry Kitchen, a cabinetmaker, was drowned while bathing in the Manawatu river this morning. Deceased and a companion wore swimming across the river, and when half way over the former called out and sank before assistance could be given him. The body was recovered three hourß later in 15 feet of water. Deceased ( was a married man.
