ALLEGED THEFT.

(Per Press Association.) Ashburton, last night. At tho Magistrate’s Court Oliver Spicsi and Edward and Percy Eden wore charged on throo informations with stealing wool in Deoomber last at Wosteriield and Windermere. The charge against Percy Eden wss withdrawn on the application of the police. Edward Eden und Oliver Spicer were committed for trial at the Supremo Court to bo hold at Timaru on February 7th. Bail was allowed, oaeh accused for 8200 in their own recognisances and two sureties cf LIOO each.
