RESCUED FROM DROWNING (Per. Press Association.) Wairoa, yostorday. Two little girls, daughters of Messrs I Craror and L. Falconer, of tho Ferry I Hotel, whilst bathing in the river, got out I of thoir depth. Mrs Falconer triod to I resouo them, und got out of her depth. I Miss O’Rourke (waitress) and Mrs May I (cook) tried to rescue them. They slipped into deep water, when two of Mrs Fal- | ooner’s son 3 and a native named Haki I Hawkins swam out and got all safely I ashore. I
