Tho Agent-General has advised the Prcmior that the cash applications for the New South Wains loon are considerably ia excess of the two millions required. Tho list closed nn Saturday. The Exchange, for Treasury bills and bondholders, remains open until the 23rd. Mr Carruthors oxplaias that, having been so largely over-applied for, tho lists had to bo prematurely closed, as the option had been given to the holders of bills to be redeemed in Moich and July to take tho loan np.
