London, .Tan The dredger Texas, bouud from Dantzig to Galveston, foundered in a storm in the Bay of Biscay. Twenty-oaShwere drowned. A boatful of twelve sis dp.ys without food "and when rescued were delirious. They were landed at Waterford. The Texas was insured for £26,666.
The steamer Cara Panama, bound from Liverpool to Para, foundered in the Irish Sea. Twelve were drowned.
