MISSING YACHT.
SUPPOSED TO HAVE SUNK WITH CREW OF FOUR,
I (Par Press 'Association.) I Auckland, last night. I The yaobt Shamrock, with four of a I orew—Messrs Ryau (3) and Williams— I which left Auckland on Deoember 26tb, is I missing. The yaoht called at Kawau on I the 27th, and left on the 28th for the Barrier. A few hours aftor leaving a hurricane squall from the north east came on suddenly, shifting to tho south-west and raising a fearful sea. Ab the yacht has not Bince been beard of it is snrmißed that she foundered in the squall. Other local yaohts bad a severe time in the Bams eijaall.
