Paris, Jan 11. QM. Paul Mourner, Deputy for Aisne, and ex-Governor of Indo-China, who is an opponent of M. Combes, has been elected President of the Chamber by a majority of 25 over M. Brieson. M. Doumer’s victory was due to votes of dissentient Radicals, Nationalists, and Royalists, and is attributed to dissatisfaction at the condition of the army, the denunciation of the Concordat, and tho income tax.
