On the 7th hond tho score was, Gtoonmeadows 9, Foilding 5, but on tho 10th head Foilding had a point load. On tho 13th bead tho sooro was 12 all. Foilding scored on the next 3 beads, and were 19 to 12 ou tbo 16th bead. On the 19th head Foilding wore 22 to 13. Tho score on tho 20rh bead was, Foilding 22, Greenmoadows 14.

Remuera 28 Ponsonby 15 On the 7th bead the score was, Remuera 12, Ponsonby 5. Remuera scored on the next 4 heads, and on the 14th head the score was, Remuera 10, Ponsonby 8. On the 15th Ponsonby got in 2 nnd 4 on the 19th head, but on tho 16th Remuera put on 3 following up with a couple of singles, and concluding with a trio, winning by 18 points.

Masßey drew the jack on the next bead, leaving Gisborne lying one, but Saywell shifted tho shot and scored 3. On the next head Zander placed both his bowls within 2ft of the jaok, Sandilans also putting his bowls in good positions. Ponsford, with a splendid shot, drew the jaok and scored a single. On the 20th head Martin placed both his bowls in good positions, but Coleman carried the jaok. Sandilans drew splendidly within 2ft of the jaok. Ponsford plaoed his last bowl within a foot, and Saywoll, although he failed to improve tbe position, played a splendid shot. 21 16. Kaiti ... 28 Auckland ... 20 Kaiti started with 3 on the Ist head and a single on the second, but Auckland replied with a 8 and a brace on the next two heads. Wellington ... 20 Dannevirke ... 17 Wellington started auspioiously, scoring II on the first 3 heads. On the 7th nead the score was Wellington 14, Dannevirke 5 On the 14th head the scores was Wellington 18, Dannevirke 9. Dannevirke did better on the next fo w heads, and at the 17 th were 14 to Wellington’s 20. Wellington won by 11 points, Wanganui ... 22 Mount Eden ... 21 Wanganui put on 6 on the 2nd head, but Mount Eden slowly overtook their score, and on the 9th bead were 12 to 7. The next few heads were evenly contested, and on the 14th head the score was Wanganui 17, Mount Eden 12. Mou ° 6 slowly reduced the gap, and on the 29th head were 19 fco Wanganui a 20. Carlton ... 27 Te Rau Carlton oommenced splendidly, scoring 16 to their opponent’s 2 up to tho Bth head. On the 12th head the score was Carlton 18, Te Rau 7. Te Rau got son the 18th head, being 14 to Carlton’s 25. Carlton won by 10 points. Hastings ... 19 Masterton ... 14 On the 7th head Hastings had scored 3 to Masterton’s 7, and on the 14th head the score was 11 all. Hastings did better after this, and won by 5 poiDts. Victoria ••• 21 Petone *” 18 The scoring on the Bth hoad was Petone 7, Victoria 2, and on the 14th head Petone was 14 to 9. Both teams scored evenly a'ter this. Victoria ultimately gaining on Victoria by 3 points.
