‘A rather sharp shook of earthquake, lasting several seconds, urns experienced at 4.10 this morning. The attendance at the exhibition keeps up well. Several additional attractions aro being added, in view of the fact that the exhibition Will remain open two or three days longer than originally attended. A military carnival will bo held oa .Thursday, evoking considerable interest, and several teams from corps in liie province will compete.

WELLINGTON, last night. M slight shock of earthquake was felt at 4.9 this morning. At the Colonial Products Exhibition, which opens in Liverpool today, the Industries and Commerce Department has a display of butter from some 35 factories, of cheese from 10 or 12 factories, and a variety of other produce, including frozen meat, grain, hemp, wool, etc.
DUNEDIN, last night. ,The Dunedin centre has disapproved of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association’s proposals to engage Australians to assist Shrubb and Duffy, in their tour of the colony .
WESTPORT, last night. The Premier was welcomed by- local representative men on hia arrival from Greymouth this morning. He .received deputations and visited the Seddoniville State colliery, to-day. Ho .will' be entertained at a dinner and public conversazione this evening.
